UF1 - Your DAW Control Center
UF1 is the best single-fader controller available on the market. It is perfect for comprehensive control of DAW programs. The studio-grade UF1 controller provides advanced features useful for in-the-box productions. UF1 features a high-quality 100mm motorized fader, two high-resolution displays, soft and durable rubber keys, and a convenient jog wheel. All of this is housed in a solid metal enclosure. UF1 offers full control over DAW panning, AUX/BUS sends, plugin control, and more! It offers the ability to customize 46 programmable buttons to perfectly fit your workflow. SSL UF1 also provides clear and comprehensive visual feedback, intuitive control, and deep integration with the SSL Meter plugin and SSL 360° software. UF1 delivers unprecedented power and control in a compact device.
One Device for Studio Control
UF1 can control up to 3 DAW programs simultaneously. It comes with profiles for Pro Tools, Logic, Cubase, Studio One, Ableton Live, LUNA, and Pyramix applications. Dedicated transport buttons and a weighted jog/scrub wheel make navigating even the largest session fast and convenient. Additional transport buttons can be individually assigned to essential shortcuts like Loop on/off or click track on/off. The Shift button allows quick access to automation modes in the DAW. The high-quality motorized 100mm SSL fader ensures precise control during automation editing and, of course, accurate track volume adjustment during recording and mixing sessions.
The dual high-resolution displays equipped in the UF1 provide clear visual information about DAW track names, essential parameters, time, SSL Meter plugin, and SSL 360° software channel strips. With SSL UF1, you can control SSL Channel Strip plugins directly from its surface. The operation of the dynamics section, including gate and compression, is also visible on the small display. The large, multifunctional stepped encoder of UF1 allows for channel grouping, mouse wheel emulation (Focus mode), and system volume control.
New Meter plugin and SSL 360° Software Integration
In addition to comprehensive DAW control, UF1 includes a perpetual license for the SSL Meter plugin (valued at 99.99 EUR), which is displayed on a large 4.3-inch IPS screen and can be controlled directly from the controller's surface and the SSL 360° plugin mixer. The SSL Meter plugin offers essential metering tools, including peak and RMS levels, K-System, stereo balance, phase correlation meter, Lissajous phase scope, 31-band RTA, VU, and PPM measurement.
Expand UF1 with SSL UC1 and UF8 Controllers
UF1 can be used standalone or in combination with UF8 to achieve more comprehensive control in DAW programs. UF1 is also an ideal hardware extension for the SSL UC1 plugin controller, adding fader functionality and providing easy access to SSL 360° channel strip parameters along with full availability of EQ filters. SSL allows the connection of up to four UF8 controllers with UC1 and UF1.
