Austrian Audio OC818 Black allows you to connect to a dedicated application via the optional Bluetooth OCR8 driver, e.g. to load your own, previously created, arbitrary polar pattern onto the microphone, as well as to operate pad and filter switches! All this while maintaining fully analogue microphone operation. The application also allows monitoring and logging of signal clipping.
An additional mini XLR connector is the second audio output, which allows you to work in dual-channel mode and record the signal from both microphone membranes independently. The free VST Polar Designer plug then allows you to control the polar pattern differently for different frequency bands, unprecedented elsewhere!
