VCM ROTARY SPEAKER

YC offers the authentic sound of a classic rotating loudspeaker column, with no maintenance required. Choose from two faithfully recreated spinning speaker profiles - warm and full or dirty and aggressive - and adjust the speed of the upper or lower rotor.

VCM EFFECTS

VCM recreates the sound and performance of vintage effects and high-end studio signal processors by modeling the circuitry down to the level of the original analog components.

FM ORGAN

In 1983, Yamaha introduced the world to the iconic sounds of FM (Frequency Modulation) synthesis with the release of the DX7 synthesizer. Now YC brings FM synthesis to organs for the next generation of instrumentalists. Just turn on the FM Organ and via the drawbars you'll be able to control the 8 FM operators that produce high-quality sound with massive low bass. Add spinning speaker effects or amp simulations for character and vibe. Intuitive controls make it easy to discover new sounds. You can also recreate the classic sound of a transistor organ, from warm to gritty to buzzy, by selecting one of three popular FM Organ modes.

DRAWBARS

The nine drawbars on the YC have the scales and ratchets found on analog organs. However, there is more than meets the eye. Transparent drawbar guides with customizable LED color make it easy to navigate between the upper and lower manuals when playing in split mode. This virtual drawbar set gives you more sounds, flexibility, and options you wouldn't expect from a stage keyboard.

DIRECT, IMMEDIATE AND FULL SOUND CONTROL.

The YC is primarily made for gaming, not lengthy menu tours. The intuitive interface allows for quick and easy keyboard splits and layers, and tone shaping directly from the master panel, proving that versatility doesn't have to be complicated.

MOBILITY

The YC88 weighs 18.6 kg, the YC73 - 13.4 kg, and the YC61 an incredible 7.1 kg. This makes them compact and lightweight instruments that you can carry to the gig yourself. The sound will also be appreciated by musicians who had to use the so-called roadies.

COMPUTER/iOS

The YC has a built-in USB stereo audio and MIDI interface for Mac, PC and iOS devices. With a single USB cable, you can record YC and MIDI audio to your DAW and use and control virtual instruments.
