DIVE IN THE SOUND OF A REAL CONCERT PIANO - EVEN IN HEADPHONES - Binaural sampling is a method in which special microphones are placed on the mannequin's head in the same position as the pianist's ears to capture the actual feeling of the piano.
In this way, the P-S500 provides the player with the natural resonance feel of an acoustic piano, even with headphones on and no matter how long it is spent on the keyboard.
AUTHENTIC PIANO FEEL, 88 KEY WEIGHTED KEYBOARD - Yamaha Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) keyboard with varied key action, lighter in the highs and heavier in the lower registers, just like grand pianos and acoustic pianos. The P-S500 perfectly reproduces even the most nuanced sounds, such as the specific "roughness" of the saxophone or the vibration of the guitar strings. STYLES - Accompaniment and rhythmic backing tracks (called styles) cover a wide range of musical genres such as pop, jazz and many more. They allow for extremely simple reproduction of the sound of an ensemble or orchestra.
OTHER ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
AUDIO AND MIDIP RECORDING The S500 allows you to record your own performances in two different formats: audio and MIDI. Audio recording allows you to record the songs you have played in the traditional way, which you can then play on your smart device. Meanwhile, the MIDI mode lets you record up to 16 tracks, with separate left and right-hand parts or complex multi-instrumental arrangements.
WORKING WITH THE MICROPHONE AND USING THE VOCAL HARMONY FUNCTION - By connecting a microphone to the P-S500, you can easily sing while playing an instrument or with playback. What's more, you have a choice of studio-quality effects such as chorus for vocals or disabling the vocal part in audio recordings, allowing you to sing with your favorite artists or bands for great fun.
WIRELESS CONNECTION WITH SMART PIANIST APP - Smart Pianist app supports not only standard wired connection, but also wireless connection using the optional UD-WL01 USB Wi-Fi adapter.
