HIGH-QUALITY COMPACT STUDIO MONITORS
For the Uncompromising Creator
The HS series speakers have become a standard in studio monitors, trusted for many years by top sound engineers, producers, and artists worldwide.
Now, Yamaha has redefined its essence in a compact enclosure. HS3 and HS4 are powerful tools for creating a wide range of audio content – from music production to video editing – meeting the expectations of creators with limited space who need to maintain low volume levels but don't want to compromise on monitoring quality.
Introducing control elements suitable for every use case
The rear panel of HS3 and HS4 is equipped with a combination of XLR/TRS phone jacks, RCA, and mini stereo jack, allowing connection to a wide range of professional and consumer equipment such as computers, audio interfaces, audio mixers, and electronic instruments. The most commonly used functions – power, volume, and headphone jack – are located on the front for easy access.
Compact and Portable
The compact size of HS3 and HS4 was made possible by the highly efficient Class D amplifier. Using one amplifier for two speakers allowed us to reduce the weight of the speakers and simplify cable connections.
They take up little space even in a small bedroom studio and can be easily taken on the go.
Optimal sound tailored to your environment
The sound produced by speakers is sometimes influenced by the environment.
The rear panels of HS3 and HS4 are equipped with ROOM Control and HIGH TRIM features, allowing adjustments to achieve the perfect sound in any environment, such as reducing unnecessary, excessive low-frequency range, which can often occur when speakers are placed next to walls.
