Product Description
Details
IO-RA (Retrofit) couplers are designed to add IO quick-change innovation to your existing stands. With IO-RA, “on the fly” hardware swaps are now a reality, replacing the tedious task of threading booms, gear, and other devices on and off.
The exclusive “Cam Lock” secures IO-RA couplers to stands without damaging mounting threads. Thread the IO-RA coupler onto any stand equipped with 3/8-16 or 5/8-27 threads until tight. Then lock the IO-RA in place by tightening the 3mm hex screw with the included hex wrench. Every IO-RA is loaded with an IO-H2 hex mounting head. 3/8-16 male and female adapters included.

Retrofitting conventional mic stands and boom arms with IO-RA Quick-Change Couplers provides an instant upgrade in functionality. Live sound and recording professionals will easily recoup their investment in MICRO and IO technology by realizing instant savings from reduced set-up and tear-down times.
The IO-RA Quick-Change Coupler is comprised of two main parts:
The IO-H2 Hex Head with 5/8″-27 diameter thread for most mic clips and microphone accessories.
The IO-RA coupler body, which provides conventional mic stands and booms quick-change compatibility with all Triad-Orbit stand system components.
IO-RA also includes two 3/8″ adapters; one male and one female, as well as a tightening wrench.
Refer to the Triad-Orbit Systems Building Guide for more potential applications.
