The Super 9000 is a fully analogue channel strip from Solid State Logic, combining the best of the legendary SuperAnalogue™ technology. Based on the SL 9000 J console and refined in the Duality, it offers ultra-low distortion, stunning punch, and sonic clarity – all packed into a compact 1U 19” rack unit.

The unit features two selectable microphone preamps – SuperAnalogue™ and VHD™. SuperAnalogue™ provides maximum transparency and accuracy, while the VHD mode adds harmonic saturation – from tube-like warmth to a harder, transistor-style edge. The dynamics section, based on the THAT 2181A VCA chip and featured in SSL’s flagship consoles, includes a compressor with Fast Attack and Peak Detect modes, and a classic gate/expander with HOLD and variable hysteresis.
