This is a plug-on transmitter for the SLXD wireless digital system, operating in the frequency range of 470 - 514 MHz.

The SLXD3 digital plug-on wireless transmitter converts any XLR-equipped signal source, including dynamic and condenser microphones, into a wireless SLX-D transmitter. Equipped with a patented locking ring that ensures a secure and play-free connection, the SLXD3 transmits 24-bit digital audio from any XLR source to a SLXD4 or SLXD5 wireless receiver using a reliable radio connection. Use the IR sync feature for easy and quick pairing with your chosen SLX-D wireless receiver. A wide range of optional power accessories provides high comfort in various conditions, and the bright OLED display shows the available battery power in hours and minutes when using the optional SB903 lithium-ion battery.

The transmitter is powered by the most common AA batteries for up to 8 hours. You can upgrade the power with the optional Shure SB903 lithium-ion battery and charging station to precisely monitor remaining operating time in hours and minutes, as well as battery life and other parameters.
