This is a digital wireless system consisting of the SLXD2 handheld transmitter with the SM58 dynamic microphone capsule and the SLXD5 camera-mount receiver, operating in the frequency range of 470 - 514 MHz.
Providing impeccable 24-bit digital audio clarity, efficient long-range UHF transmission, and easy-to-use configuration features, the SLXD5 performs excellently whether mounted on a camera or in a sound equipment bag. Scan and sync frequencies with a compatible SLXD wireless transmitter using infrared connectivity, or coordinate and monitor the settings of multiple channels supporting various audio sources using the Multi-Mic mode. The bright OLED display shows battery life in hours and minutes when using the optional SB903 lithium-ion battery. Ideal for video recording as well as reporting and broadcasting applications. Transmitters operate on 2 standard AA batteries or an optional lithium-ion battery with a dual or single charging station. The receiver features two 3.5mm outputs – for headphone monitoring and a switchable line or mic level output.
