This is a wireless set consisting of the SLXD2 handheld transmitter with a SM86 microphone capsule, operating in the frequency range of 470 - 514 MHz.

The SLX-D digital wireless system provides users with more channels than the SLX, smart charging options, and simplified operation at critical moments. It is ideal for use in classrooms, cultural centers, corporate facilities, hospitality sector, and government facilities, among others. The transmitters operate on 2 standard AA batteries or an optional lithium-ion rechargeable battery with dual or single charging station.

The SM86 is a condenser microphone with studio-quality sound and a cardioid polar pattern that effectively isolates the main sound source from unwanted background noise. This makes it an excellent model for use with stage monitors and personal in-ear monitoring. It has an extended high-frequency response range of 50 Hz – 18 kHz and can handle a maximum sound pressure level of up to 124 dB. The built-in three-point shock mount minimizes handling noise, and the pop filter reduces wind and breath noise.

The SLX-D digital wireless system delivers clear audio, stable RF signal, and is easy to set up. SLX-D is built to handle a wide range of applications, from day-long conferences to nighttime performances.
Automatic channel scan and IR sync are even easier with a guided setup feature programmed into each SLX-D wireless receiver. Manage multiple-system group scans and firmware updates with third-party setup and control via Ethernet. Operate up to 32 compatible systems per 44 MHz band. The transmitter is powered by the most popular AA batteries for up to 8 hours. You can upgrade the power with the optional Shure SB903 lithium-ion rechargeable battery and charging station to accurately monitor remaining runtime in hours and minutes, as well as battery health and other parameters.
