With the VT-4 you have total fluidity, instant control of both height and format, with dedicated sliders for everyone. Dramatically change your entire overtone from male to female, from high to low or good to bad - the choice is yours.
Transformational Effects
Achieving complex vocal effects is easy with the VT-4, and you can also use multiple effects at the same time. Use the central Auto-Pitch knob to select the appropriate dose of strong effect, then press the Megaphone button. Or run the vocoder via tape delay or vintage chorus. Each effect has a range of tactile variations, so you can get different vocoder characteristics, different lo-fi effects, multi-element harmonies, and different types of reverb and delay. Combine effects, set the controls the way you like, then simply hold down a preset button to save that setup for later. Changing presets and settings is smooth and instant with no jolts, pops or interruptions.
MIDI control
The VT-4 works great, it can harmonize and activate without any connection other than your voice. But connecting a MIDI keyboard to the VT-4 opens up even more expressive possibilities, letting you control the Auto-Pitch, Harmony and vocoder engines in real time with the sounds you play. As you sing, you can tune your voice to specific notes or create instant multi-part harmonies with sounds that match your chords. The small VT-4 sits nicely on most keyboards and is easily integrated into your setup.
