This premium five-piece kit features full-depth, full-diameter wooden shells finished in attractive laminates and mounted on doubly reinforced chrome stands. Roland's advanced digital sensor technology and the dynamic TD-27 drum module ensure that each hit is accurately rendered—from ghost notes, rolls, to swells—in astonishing detail.

Building on the previous VAD506 model, the VAD507 adds a digital hi-hat for even greater expression, as well as robust cymbal stands inherited from the flagship VAD706. The TD-27 module has also been updated, featuring new kits and samples, extended processing options, and much more.

The complete cymbal set includes a 12″ V-Hi-Hat, 14″ and 16″ crashes (both with slim profiles and textured finishes), and an 18″ ride, providing superb playability and a natural stage look.

Roland’s groundbreaking digital pad technology is a huge leap forward in electronic drumming, offering unparalleled depth and nuance at the sticks. Precision sensors in the snare, ride, and hi-hat pads work in harmony with the TD-27 module to capture every nuance with incredible definition and detail. Ultra-fast triggering allows for all the natural acoustic techniques—from muting the ride with a simple fingertip to seamlessly transitioning among head, rim, and cross stick techniques on the snare. The VH-14D takes the digital hi-hat to a new level with unmatched sensitivity, tonal variation, and open/close resolution.

New, pre-loaded samples are available which can be layered with factory kits or your own kits. Layering functions have been expanded, and parallel compression options along with transient shaping enhancements provide even greater control over your sound.

When it comes to acoustic drumming, you can create your own sound by changing head types, adjusting tuning, applying damping, modifying snare tension, switching the batter, and much more. This is all made possible by the TD-27 module, which allows you to build kits tailored to any situation. You can even load your own samples and layer them over internal sounds for even more personalized kits.

The VAD507 comes equipped with the same robust stands as the flagship VAD706, ensuring top performance and an authentic acoustic feel. The tom pads are mounted just like acoustic toms. The newly engineered slim V-Cymbals are attached using a special pivoting mount, providing a natural feel for acoustic movement and stick response.

Utilize PureAcoustic Ambience technology to create an incredibly natural and immersive sonic space while you play. Get into the details by adjusting individual drum microphones and overall stereo sounds just like an acoustic kit. The built-in multi-effects and mixing functions provide the power of a full-sized studio console with transient processing, parametric EQs, compressors, reverbs, delay lines, and many more.

Versatile Connections for Stage and Studio

The VAD507 delivers fantastic sound whether you’re performing live or recording, thanks to its extensive connectivity options. The TD-27 module features stereo outputs for the overall drum sound as well as two direct outputs for sending the kick, snare, or other sounds to an audio console for independent mixing. In the studio, the built-in USB audio interface makes producing music with your computer easy, offering 28 audio channels via a single cable. MIDI is also supported via USB and dedicated inputs/outputs, enabling synchronization with other MIDI devices and triggering sounds in computer software.

Easy Kit Expansion

With the VAD507, you’re never stuck with a fixed configuration. Using the three auxiliary trigger inputs on the TD-27 module, you can easily add tom and cymbal pads to beef up your arsenal. You can even go for maximum impact with an impressive double bass pedal setup. Whatever you envision, the auxiliary trigger inputs are the key to the ideal drum configuration.

Bluetooth Audio Streaming

Built-in Bluetooth allows you to stream audio wirelessly from your phone or laptop into the module—ideal for playing along with headphones.
