You can adjust brightness, sound width, and key touch sensitivity during play. Piano Designer tools allow you to unlock temperament, acoustic resonance, and other detailed parameters.

Two transistor-based combo models from the ’60s and a pipe-organ option are also available for additional versatility. You can also activate/deactivate each engine with a single press, set and reset split points, and quickly balance levels using dynamic rotary encoders equipped with LED indicators that provide at-a-glance status.

The four rear-panel jacks support a range of floor control options, including standard hold/damper pedals and foot switches as well as expression pedals for custom control over various parameters. Two dedicated USB inputs are also available for connecting external MIDI controllers, such as the Roland A-49 or A-PRO series.

One-Touch Setup

Organize and recall sounds using 512 Scenes, each containing sound settings, effects, and parameters that can be tailored to any selected piece. Use 128 Scene Chains to organize up to 128 Scenes for quick selection of different stage setlists. Eight special EX Scenes automatically save changes during performance, making it ideal for configuring setups on the fly and last-minute adjustments to your evening setlist.

Smooth Transitions

The fast V-STAGE DSP processor eliminates audio dropouts that plague less capable keyboards. The Scene Remain function ensures smooth, natural transitions with delay/reverb carryover, without truncated notes. With robust polyphony, you can confidently tackle even the most complex musical pieces.

Using the Master section on the V-STAGE panel, you can easily shape the overall sound to suit the environment in which you play. Balance the complete output signal with a three-band EQ and adjustable midrange control. Then, add punch and impact using two advanced compressor options that allow modification of multiple internal parameters with a single knob.
