The KX 515-A - Flexibility, power, and compactness make the KX 515-A ideal for installed and portable professional applications where size and weight are critical factors. This approach combines the advantages of RCF technology such as controlled dispersion, outstanding clarity and extreme power, multiple flexible rigging accessories, weatherproof protection, and RDNET real-time monitoring and management software with recallable presets. Its transducer configuration pairs two custom-loaded 5-inch cone drivers to a rotatable CMD waveguide surrounding a titanium 1.75-inch high-frequency compression driver. Whether it’s used as a compact main system, as fills, or surrounds in a larger system, KX 515-A is quick to deploy and fast to tune.

A 2000 watt speaker that can fit in your palm

The two-channel 2000 W (1000 W RMS) amplifier is small, ultra-silent, and fanless. Producing a Max SPL of 127 dB, is perfect for 3D/immersive sound, nearfield systems, and productions that demand extreme sound quality. The rotatable 100x70 degree pattern reaches a wide area, perfectly matching the directivity of the woofers. The internal DSP has a whole range of protections for the transducers and includes special FiRPHASE and BMC processing to achieve coherent distribution of sound without phase distortion and deep, tight bass at any volume.

A stunning sound system

Pair the KX 515-A with the SUB 808-AS subwoofer to extend the low-frequency range and create a powerful full-range main system with an incredibly small footprint. With multiple configuration options, the powerful DSP and RDNet remote management, there isn't a too big or too small venue. You can pack a full-range stereo system with two KX 515-A, two 808-AS subwoofers, poles, and cables in less than 200-liters volume.

RCF Precision Transducers

Low Frequency - Two 5” cone drivers on a custom-designed phase plug to enhance midrange efficiency and extend horizontal coverage, matching the waveguide dispersion for perfect coverage continuity around the crossover point.

High Frequency - The high-performance 1.75" titanium dome compression driver is fitted on a 100° x 70° CMD horn that is easily rotatable in the field using only a screwdriver. This special waveguide and high-frequency transducer design allow excellent control of directional characteristics. In difficult acoustic environments, intelligibility is significantly increased.

RDNet - SOUND SYSTEM MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL SOFTWARE

RDNet is an advanced platform for integrated monitoring and control of sound systems - from small live and installed setups to massive arena systems. Based on a robust networked architecture, RDNet combines system control, line array design, and comprehensive audio measurements into a single powerful software package. Engineers and technicians can intuitively manage every device on the network, from individual components to multiple groups. The platform provides full DSP control of compatible devices, with flexible configuration tools for perfectly tuning the system response at maximum speed. Users have real-time access and oversight of all key settings from a centralized interface.

Robust and durable

The enclosure is made of high-quality Baltic birch plywood, glued with water-resistant adhesive and coated with weatherproof polyurea paint, ensuring excellent waterproofing, UV resistance, corrosion protection, and durability against abrasion, impacts, and mechanical stress. The solid machined aluminum structure efficiently dissipates heat fanlessly, improving enclosure stiffness, while the high-strength structural steel rigging ensures a high safety factor for secure weight management. Die-cast aluminum handles with ergonomic rubber grips enhance usability. The back panel is equipped with waterproof powerCON® TRUE1 TOP mains connectors, guaranteeing durability under any outdoor conditions.

The only limit is your imagination. With multiple rigging accessories and the unobtrusive form factor of the cabinet, KX 515-A is suitable for a wide range of configurations including hanging, pole-, truss-, wall- or ceiling-mounting— at any angle in horizontal or vertical orientation. The rotatable waveguide (and rotatable logo) allows for perfect dispersion control at any position. The speaker’s rigging is fast and easy using the practical Quick Fit socket to easily install accessories such as the clamp mount, pole mount, horizontal brackets, or using the two M10 threads on top and bottom of the cabinet. You will always find a place for KX 515-A.

DSP

The KX DSP platform is the next-generation audio engine for RCF active speakers and DSP amplifiers. Designed as a real-time DSP engine, it offers unparalleled processing density and scalability, propelling RCF speakers to a new dimension of performance. This groundbreaking DSP engine delivers unmatched processing power for its class.

BASS MOTION CONTROL - KX speakers equipped with Bass Motion Control (BMC) produce the lowest audible frequencies without affecting the woofer stability, with extended linearity and better sound integrity. The BMC method creates a complete map of the dynamic behavior of the woofer, to generate a custom algorithm that limits over-excursions. Traditional high-pass filters protect the woofer from over-excursion but change the phase/frequency response. In contrast, the new BMC algorithm protects the woofer allowing total freedom of signal reproduction.

FIRPHASE - NEW PERSPECTIVE ON LINEARITYKX speakers are designed using a proprietary and advanced digital FiR technology, conceived to deliver transparent sound, absolute clarity, and perfect imaging to the listener. The special FiRPHASE processing distributes sound to all listeners without phase distortions, ensuring minimum latencies in the system. The algorithm corrects phase and amplitude (if necessary) by taking into account the weak points of the transducers and the resonances or cancellations due to the cabinet of the loudspeaker.
