Product Features

The PRS SE CE 24 Standard Stoptail Satin stands out with several key elements that make it exceptional in its class. The iconic Bolt-On construction with a bolt-on neck ensures a lightning-fast attack and a bright tonal character that cuts through in any mix. Satin Finish is a thin layer of satin lacquer that allows the wood to resonate better, while offering an extraordinary tactile feel during play—without the sticky sensation often associated with glossy finishes. Versatile electronics based on PRS's proprietary 85/15 "S" pickups in an HH configuration guarantee a wide palette of tones—from vintage warmth to modern clarity. The Push/Pull function on the tone potentiometer enables coil splitting, adding distinctive single-coil tones to your tonal arsenal. The PRS Stoptail bridge ensures maximum transfer of string vibrations to the body, resulting in impressive sustain and excellent tuning stability even during the most demanding performances.

Tone that Inspires Creation

The PRS SE CE 24 Standard Stoptail Satin electric guitar is an instrument designed for guitarists who do not accept compromises. The Bolt-On construction, often associated with classic instruments from the 1960s and 70s, gives the tone the desired "spark" and attack that stands out in every musical context. The bolt-on maple neck with a Wide Thin profile sits naturally in the hand and allows for rapid transitions between positions—an ideal solution for guitarists playing fast solos or demanding rhythm parts. The solid mahogany body provides a solid resonant base, which, combined with the satin finish, allows the wood to breathe and vibrate in a fully natural way. The result? A tone full of harmonics, with a distinct attack and long sustain. PRS 85/15 "S" pickups are one of the most highly regarded pickup sets in the PRS lineup—their character oscillates between vintage warmth and modern clarity, making them an ideal choice for guitarists playing in various musical genres. The Push/Pull function on the Tone potentiometer opens the door to the world of single-coil tones without needing to reach for another guitar. A single pull is all it takes to transition from a full, meaty humbucker tone to a bright, cutting character of split coils. The three-way pickup selector switch, combined with this function, provides a total of six different tonal configurations—more than enough for any musical situation. The Charcoal finish in its satin version is not just an aesthetic matter. The matte surface eliminates stage reflections, does not collect fingerprints, and ensures a secure grip regardless of conditions. This is a guitar that looks professional both under club spotlights and in the controlled environment of a recording studio.

Materials and Construction

The PRS SE CE 24 Standard Stoptail Satin is built with top-quality materials, which is the hallmark of the entire SE line. The solid mahogany body provides a warm, full tone with excellent projection—mahogany bodies have long been the foundation of electric guitars heard on millions of recordings. The maple neck with a Wide Thin profile combines stiffness and comfort—maple adds brightness and definition to the tone, while the thin profile enables rapid playing even for those with smaller hands. The rosewood fretboard offers natural smoothness and a warm tone that perfectly complements the brightness of the maple neck. The whole is crowned by a satin finish—a minimal layer of lacquer that does not dampen the wood's resonance and provides a pleasant, matte feel under the fingers. Nickel-plated hardware—from tuners to bridge—guarantees durability and corrosion resistance.
