The Charcoal satin finish gives the instrument a modern yet elegant appearance that catches the eye and highlights the musician's individual style.

Product Features

Iconic Bolt-On Construction – The bolt-on neck is a solution that ensures a fast attack and a bright tonal character. This type of construction is particularly valued by guitarists playing rock, metal, and punk music, as it provides clarity and a "kick" that cuts through dense mixes effectively. Additionally, the bolt-on neck allows for easy adjustment and potential replacement, making this instrument a practical choice for years to come.

Satin Finish – A thin layer of satin lacquer covering the body and neck allows the wood to resonate better, resulting in a natural, full sound. The satin surface is also pleasant to the touch, and the neck remains fast and smooth, facilitating fluid hand movement during play. This is an ideal solution for musicians who value direct contact with the wood and the instrument's natural response.

Versatile Electronics – The custom PRS 85/15 "S" pickups guarantee excellent tone in every setting. The HH configuration with a tone potentiometer featuring a Push/Pull function enables coil splitting, providing access to additional single-coil sounds. This allows you to achieve both the classic, full humbucker tone and the bright, "glassy" tones of single-coils, without needing to switch guitars.

Stability and Ergonomics – The Stoptail bridge is a classic solution that guarantees maximum transfer of string vibrations to the body, resulting in impressive sustain and excellent tuning stability. This ensures the guitar stays in tune even during the most energetic performances. Additionally, the 24 frets and Wide Thin neck profile ensure comfort and playing speed in every register, appreciated by both soloists and rhythm guitarists.

Professional Capabilities for Your Creativity

The PRS SE CE 24 Standard Satin is not just a beautiful instrument, but primarily a work tool that opens up unlimited possibilities for the musician. The PRS 85/15 "S" pickups are designed to capture the full dynamics and clarity of the sound. Clean tones are glassy and clear, while with overdrive, you get a powerful, juicy sound that is perfect for rock, metal, or alternative music. The Push/Pull function allows for coil splitting, providing additional single-coil tones – from delicate and bell-like to rough and aggressive. This makes the guitar suitable for every musical genre, from blues to modern metal.

The Bolt-On construction further emphasizes the attack and clarity of every note, which is particularly important for fast solos and technical passages. The Wide Thin neck profile ensures a comfortable hand position, and the 24 frets allow easy access to the highest notes. The rosewood fingerboard adds smoothness and warmth, influencing the overall timbre of the instrument. This is a guitar that not only sounds great but also inspires experimentation and the development of your own style.

Thanks to the thoughtful electronic layout, with separate volume and tone potentiometers, you have full control over your sound. The Push/Pull function on the tone knob allows for quick switching between pickup modes, which is extremely useful during live performances. Whether you are playing clean chords or leading sharp solos, this guitar will meet every challenge.

Applications

• Live Performance – Thanks to its strong, cutting tone and tuning stability, the guitar performs excellently during concerts. The satin finish not only looks great under stage lights but is also scratch-resistant, which is important for intensive use.
• Studio Work – Its tonal versatility and sound purity make it an ideal tool for recordings. The PRS 85/15 "S" pickups offer a wide tonal range that can be easily adapted to different musical styles.
• Clean Tone (Glassy) – These pickups offer crystal-clear tones, ideal for clean parts, chords, and fingerstyle. Thanks to the Push/Pull function, you can achieve even more resonant, "glassy" sounds.
• Overdriven Tone (Powerful Overdrive) – Thanks to its high dynamics and characteristic attack, the guitar handles heavy sounds excellently. Heavy riffs and solos gain clarity and power.

Materials and Construction

The mahogany body provides a warm, full sound with excellent sustain. Mahogany is a wood species that has been used in electric guitar production for decades due to its resonant properties and durability. The maple neck with a Wide Thin profile guarantees a comfortable grip and fast playing, while the rosewood fingerboard adds smoothness and depth to the sound. Rosewood is also valued for its resistance to moisture and temperature changes, which contributes to the instrument's stability.

The Charcoal satin finish not only looks beautiful but also allows the wood to "breathe," resulting in better resonance. Unlike thick layers of lacquer, satin does not dampen vibrations, allowing the guitar to sound natural and organic. All hardware components – bridge, tuners, switches – are made of high-quality materials and are characterized by solidity, ensuring long-term reliability. The nickel-plated elements give the instrument a classic look and are corrosion-resistant.
