Completely New Battle-Style Layout
Play intuitively with an interface designed to mimic two PLX turntables and a DJM-S series mixer – a combination used by professional DJs. The new layout of the DDJ-REV1 provides plenty of space to refine your mixing and scratching techniques. The tempo sliders are 60 mm long, longer than those on the DDJ-SB3, providing more control. They are horizontally arranged above the decks, while the Performance Pads have been moved to the mixer section, allowing you to intuitively combine effects, trigger samples, and scratch tracks.
Larger Jog Wheels
The larger the jog wheels, the easier it is to scratch. The jog wheels on the DDJ-REV1 are the same size as those on the DDJ-SR2, our popular high-end controller.
Lever FX
Add dynamic flair to your music with Lever FX. Push the effect levers down and hold them to apply Serato DJ Lite effects in short bursts, or push the levers up to lock effects, freeing your hands to scratch or browse tracks.
Tracking Scratch: Scratch Assistance
The Tracking Scratch feature silently returns the track to the cue point when you spin the jog wheel backward or lift your hand, so you don’t need to close the fader and find the right point on the track to start scratching again. Simply select the Tracking Scratch Pad mode, press the Performance Pad to choose the Scratch Crossfader Cut pattern, and then start spinning the jog wheel.
Audio Mixing with Microphone: Easily Add Your Voice While Streaming
For the first time in a Pioneer DJ controller at this price point, the main output audio is mixed with the microphone signal if connected. This means you don’t need external equipment like a sound card or separate mixer to add comments or vocals to your set and route them through your computer. The entire signal is sent to Serato DJ Lite, allowing you to stream it from there.
Integration with Serato DJ Lite: Enjoy Free Software with No Limitations
Once you download Serato DJ Lite to your PC/Mac, simply connect the DDJ-REV1 using the included USB cable and start DJing. Enjoy tactile control over various features and effects in the software by manipulating the buttons, knobs, sliders, and jog wheels on the controller.
