Details
In 1957, Peavey revolutionized the market of sound columns by introducing the SP1 model. Today, history comes full circle, as evidenced by the appearance of the Dark Matter series of columns in their lineup. Thanks to the advanced DSP processor, a level of acoustic pressure was achieved that outperforms most models in this category. Placed on the rear panel, the LCD display and dedicated rotary encoder allow users to control a range of parameters implemented by the EQ signal processor.
Through it, values of sound correction settings can be defined, and presets programmed for various operating modes of the column and its settings can be selected. With these presets, users can quickly and easily configure the device and adapt it to the given conditions. The DM115 column utilizes Peavey's proprietary Quadric Throat Waveguide technology, which significantly facilitates achieving a clean and precise sound. The Dark Matter series owes its reliability largely to the durable injection-molded housing with a steel grille. The column's design allows for placement on a stand or use as a floor monitor. It is a device that meets the requirements of bands, DJs, and other stage applications.
