Select and trigger samples directly from the 64 pads, build drum patterns and melodies step-by-step, and then perform them live with full expression. The step sequencer mode allows you to edit up to four instruments simultaneously, drastically speeding up the producer's workflow. Dedicated transport buttons — play, pause, record, rewind — eliminate the need to reach for the mouse and keyboard, allowing you to focus solely on creating music.

Expressive Playing and Advanced Editing

Thanks to force-sensing resistor technology, FLpad pads react to the dynamics of every strike, making them an ideal tool for finger drumming and expressive playing of melodic and bass parts. Note Mode allows playing in a selected scale or chromatically, while Graph Edit mode gives direct access to the FL Studio graphical editor — edit pitch, duration, and dynamics of every note directly from the grid. Channel Rack Mixer mode turns the grid into a series of faders, enabling track mixing without leaving the controller. Additionally, Patterns mode allows you to create, copy, clear, and duplicate patterns in seconds. With the Novation Components app, you can further design your own key and pad layouts, customizing the FLpad to your individual working style.
