Details
The WS-6.2 is a studio subwoofer with two 6.5-inch horizontally positioned woofers.
The WS-6.2 takes up less than half the space of comparable subwoofers, making it ideal for use under a desk or other places where space is at a premium. Despite its small size, its maximum SPL is 120 dB, and the effective low frequency reaches 27 Hz.
The opposing arrangement of the speakers causes their movement to cancel each other out, producing deep, clear and powerful bass. It also means that the subwoofer will not slide across the floor and cause rattling or buzzing on objects it may touch.
The built-in 80Hz high-passed output makes it ideal for pairing with most popular studio monitors, including the Kali LP and IN series monitors. The footswitch jack allows users to bypass both the subwoofer and crossover so they can listen to their mix on full-range speakers.
Like all Kali Audio monitors, the WS-6.2 uses a unique port horn that virtually eliminates air pressure-induced acoustic distortion, allowing for clear, powerful bass.
