The best studio monitor from Kali Audio to date combines proven 3-way technology with uncompromising components and craftsmanship. The SM series provides unparalleled imaging, accuracy, and detail in the most critical applications.
The key to the high performance of the SM series is its coincident 3-way architecture. This design allows for incredibly realistic coaxial speaker imaging, while also providing low distortions and midrange clarity that can only be achieved with a 3-way speaker.
The midrange and tweeter are not only coaxial but also convergent, meaning they are physically time-aligned and thus phase-coherent at every angle.
The SM series monitors are acoustic point sources, with special attention paid to the transition from the midrange speaker to the baffle. This transition is seamless up to the edge of the speaker, resulting in an immersive stereo image where details are realistic and clear.
