The EON718S 18-inch subwoofer meets the needs of today's musicians and sound engineers. It has been designed to effortlessly adapt to the needs of customers. The new EON700 series is ideal for vocal performances, presentations, cultural events and DJs. They can be configured as main or stage monitors, suspended or stacked, in portable systems or permanent installations - the possibilities are endless.
Acoustics and amplification
JBL's advanced waveguide and driver technologies, combined with high-efficiency amplification, ensure even coverage of the entire listening area, even when you push your system to its limits. The woofers have been redesigned for lower impedance and higher efficiency, the improved horn provides a smooth off-axis frequency response, and the powerful JBL 2414H compression driver features a high-grade neodymium magnet for a balanced response while remaining lightweight. The drivers are powered by 1,300 (speakers) or 1,500 (subwoofer) watts from an ultra-efficient, discrete Class-D amplifier for clean, clear sound. It all adds up to excellent coverage, coherence and intelligibility at any volume.
Advanced DSP and control
The advanced DSP package gives you comprehensive control over EQ, limiters, delay, dbx Automatic Feedback Suppression, ducking and more. Quick access to settings is provided by the integrated backlit LCD screen or the JBL Pro Connect App. Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 and controls use the latest security protocol, low latency and wide range.
System versatility
The EON700 can be used as main PA speakers or floor monitors. Full range models feature top and rear rigging points (serve as connections for fixed installations using the optional universal yoke). Indexed feet in the enclosures allow for a range of acoustic configurations and safe positioning as well as convenient storage and transport. The EON718S subwoofers feature threaded pole mounts for full range speakers and are easy to stack in cardioid configurations.
Rugged and reliable
All audio products have a lifespan, and JBL engineers go to great lengths to ensure that that lifespan is as long as possible - not only in terms of reliability, but also in terms of how good the system sounds.
The full-range speakers feature FEA-optimized composite enclosures, using injection molding and mechanical molding techniques to increase durability without sacrificing enclosure size or performance. The subwoofers are housed in solid 15-layer birch cabinets. The computer-optimized ergonomic handles make carrying the boxes a breeze.
