At the heart of the unit is the award-winning AI Machine Modeling® technology, designed to reproduce the character, dynamics, feel, and response of real amplifiers, cabinets, and effects. You get 2,000 premium Tone Models plus access to more than 60,000 Tone Models and presets through ToneNET. The processor can run up to four Tone Models simultaneously across two independent signal paths. These capabilities are complemented by 76 effects from TONEX, AmpliTube, and newly designed processors, with up to 12 effect slots available. VIR™ cabinet technology and support for custom impulse responses further expand your cabinet configuration options.

A Complete Amp Modeling and Effects System

IK Multimedia TONEX Board allows you to create much more sophisticated configurations than a traditional single-amp model. Its dual-signal-path architecture supports stereo, dual-amp, wet/dry, and parallel setups. For example, you can combine two AI-captured amplifier models with distortion, overdrive, or fuzz Tone Models and add further processors to create a complete virtual rig.

You have access to 76 effects across nine categories, including drive, modulation, pitch, EQ, filters, reverb, dynamics, delay, and utility processors. Flexible effect placement lets you create everything from straightforward traditional pedalboard configurations to expansive studio-style rigs. The stereo FX loop can operate as a single stereo loop or as two independent mono loops, making it easy to integrate your favorite external pedals and processors into the signal chain.

Operation is made intuitive by a high-resolution 5-inch color touchscreen and physical controls that provide quick access to essential parameters. Four footswitches support Preset, Scene, and Stomp modes. During a performance, you can recall complete configurations, switch Scenes, or control individual effects without taking your hands off the instrument. Up to 1,440 preset slots can be organized into setlists, making it easy to prepare sounds for numerous songs, performances, and different musical projects.
