The PlayAUDIO1U is designed to handle live performances at a professional level. It is a meticulously crafted, robust, redundant interface that provides impeccable audio output, as well as versatile MIDI connectivity across the entire stage. It's perfect for controlling and playing back backing tracks, virtual instruments, and most other things that require computers in a live stage environment.

The PlayAUDIO1U safeguards your performance against failure, utilizing the renowned redundancy of iConnectivity's multiple computers. It listens to your software, and in case of any issues, it automatically switches between computers faster than anyone can hear. It does this by listening to either one or both MIDI or audio signals coming from the computer.
The PlayAUDIO1U introduces a new type of protection during performances. In addition to monitoring for software or computer failures, it can also listen to audio streams from both the computers and itself. At the slightest hint of a sound issue, it can mute the audio on the main outputs and provide diagnostic information to the operator via the display. This helps protect everyone from bad sound, noise, etc. that might pass through to the PA system, monitors, etc.
PlayAUDIO1U Display - Your Virtual Assistant
Just like your virtual assistant, the display provides information about what's happening in your system. Use real-time information like MIDI monitoring and sound levels. The display will also show warnings in case of computer failures or issues elsewhere in the system.
With the PlayAUDIO1U display, configuring correctly or diagnosing issues has never been faster or easier.

The back of the PlayAUDIO1U is ready for your performance. Connect it directly to a multicore, stage box, or splitter, and you're good to go. Additionally, the XLR sockets are reinforced by the housing, making them more resilient to the rigors of touring.
1U rack-mountable enclosure:
Place the PlayAUDIO1U in a rack case or use it standalone. It's super flexible.
Onboard power switching and IEC connector:
No need for wall-warts! The 100 V - 220 V 50-60 Hz switching with an IEC connector makes the PlayAUDIO1U compatible with power worldwide! Just plug in the PlayAUDIO1U and you're ready to roll.
PlayAUDIO1U - A MIDI Enthusiast
iConnectivity has been a global leader and innovator in the field of MIDI connectivity for years. All of their MIDI expertise from live performances has been implemented into the PlayAUDIO1U.
The PlayAUDIO1U can serve as the main MIDI manager during live performances. Connect devices via the built-in 5-pin MIDI Din, USB host port, connected computers, and even over a network via RTP MIDI.
Once everything is connected, it allows you to customize which MIDI signals are sent, where, and when. For example, powerful MIDI processing in iConnectivity allows for easy sending of MIDI to connected computer devices, sending only one set of program changes to connected peripheral devices, sending "all notes off" in case of computer failure to avoid stuck notes, filtering out unwanted CC, and much, much more.
It's a MIDI powerhouse. iConnectivity's renowned flexibility is on board.
