Headrush FRFR-12 CAB - Full-Range FRFR Speaker for Modelers

The Headrush FRFR-12 CAB is a professional, active full-range speaker designed for guitarists and bassists using modern modelers and digital pedalboards. With a peak power of 750 W and a 12-inch woofer, this unit faithfully reproduces every modeled tone without adding any coloration or tonal shaping. It is a solution that brings digital amplifier simulations to a completely new level of stage realism.

Product Features

The full-range FRFR characteristic guarantees neutral, pristine sound, 750 W peak power ensures ample dynamic headroom, and built-in Bluetooth 5.3 enables wireless playback of backing tracks. The speaker is equipped with a 3-band Baxandall equalizer and a high-pass filter, providing full control over the sound character in any space. Balanced XLR and TRS connections allow for easy integration with PA systems and studio recording.

Professional Capabilities for Your Creativity

The Headrush FRFR-12 CAB is much more than just a standard speaker. It is a complete stage tool that faithfully captures all nuances of modeled tones - from delicate clean sounds and crunchy overdrives to extreme, high-gain metal tones. Thanks to its flat frequency response (50 Hz - 20 kHz), every amplifier, effect, and cabinet simulation sounds exactly as designed. This is particularly important for advanced modelers offering hundreds of different tone configurations - the FRFR speaker does not favor any specific preset, rendering every detail with precision and accuracy.

The built-in Bluetooth 5.3 module with a range of up to 30 meters allows for wireless transmission of backing tracks, reference recordings, or even entire songs from a phone or tablet. This is an invaluable aid during practice, rehearsals, and the creative process. The connection is stable and introduces no audible latency, ensuring clean and comfortable playing along with tracks. With a maximum sound pressure level of 130 dB, the speaker easily cuts through a loud band, ensuring excellent audibility even in demanding stage conditions.

The adjustable high-pass filter allows you to tailor the frequency range to specific applications - for example, cutting the lowest frequencies when using an electric guitar, or utilizing the full range for a bass guitar. Meanwhile, the 3-band Baxandall equalizer enables quick and intuitive tuning of the sound to the room's acoustics, without the need for external processors. This feature will be appreciated by both touring musicians and sound engineers working with PA systems.
