DR-212 is a true 12-string acoustic guitar with a powerful sound and the excellent finish that one expects from Epiphone. DR-212 is not just a regular dreadnought with an additional 6 strings. We designed the DR-212 in such a way that the string tension is distributed on the designated bracing and resonates in harmony with the other strings. A 12-string dreadnought has always performed exceptionally well in genres like blues, rock, country, and all their derivatives. It only takes a moment of playing on the instrument to be convinced that it was created by the finest Epiphone luthiers.
