Mikrofon pojemnościowy posiada jaśniejsze i bardziej szczegółowe brzmienie od mikrofonu dynamicznego. Jest dużo bardziej czuły oraz posiada większy zakres częstotliwości. Pozwala to przekazać czysty i wierny dźwięk. Mikrofony elektretowe mają mniejsze zapotrzebowanie jeśli chodzi o zasilanie, lecz dzięku temu lepiej znoszą słabsze akustycznie miejsca. Do zasilenia tego mikrofonu potrzebne jest zasilanie Phantom (+48V), które możemy uzyskać z miksera bądź interfejsu audio. W zestawach bezprzewodowych zasilanie mikrofonu jest pobierane z nadajnika. Jeśli potrzebujesz mikrofonu do prezentacji, zajęć fitness czy telewizji to wybierz mikrofon elektretowy, zaś do teatru i śpiewu lepiej sprawdzi się pojemnościowy.
