The Scarlett 18i8 3rd Gen includes four upgraded Scarlett 3rd Gen mic preamps with a switchable "Air" mode that emulates the effect of classic ISA mic preamps, giving your vocal and acoustic recordings a brighter, more open sound. Each preamp features a PAD to reduce signal levels, making it particularly useful when recording loud sound sources. The interface offers eight analog inputs, including four mic/line inputs, two high-impedance instrument inputs, and four additional line inputs on the back. Additionally, the Scarlett 18i8 can be expanded with 8 additional inputs via the ADAT optical input, making it a flexible solution for any studio.
