In 2001, Bogner introduced the Uberschall amplifier to the market. Over a decade later, Bogner still produces this amplifier by hand in Los Angeles, California. Dubbed "Armageddon in a box", the ferocious Uberschall pedal draws thunderous hi-gain sounds from the notoriously brutal Bogner Uberschall amplifier. While the Uberschall effect offers a considerable range of classic lower and mid distortion, its true nature comes out when we set it up for wild, face-melting, high-gain aggression - don't say we didn't warn you!

Reinhold designed the Uberschall effect around five discrete Class A gain stages, without diode clipping, thus mirroring the high-gain channel layout of the Uberschall amplifier. This revolutionary approach provides transparency, articulation sensitivity and sound separation never before achieved in distortion effects.

The Uberschall effect is powered by a standard 9V battery or a 9V DC power supply. The advanced Reinhold circuit internally raises the voltage to a much higher level. This higher voltage provides a greater dynamic range that sounds very reminiscent of the legendary Bogner Uberschall tube amplifier.
