Behringer XR18 X AIR - Professional Digital Mixer

Behringer XR18 is a truly powerful audio powerhouse that has revolutionized the mobile digital mixer market. This device blends studio‑grade quality with remarkable compactness, making it the ideal choice for sound engineers who need reliability on the road. The XR18 is more than just a console; it’s a command center for your sound that you can control from anywhere in the room.

Product Features

The device is equipped with a range of advanced features that set it apart from the competition. A key element is the 16 programmable MIDAS microphone preamps, delivering crystal‑clear signal with low noise. With the integrated WiFi module, you gain full control over parameters without physically touching the device. An additional advantage is the fast, bidirectional USB audio interface, enabling simultaneous recording and playback of multiple tracks. All of this fits into a rugged stage‑box enclosure, making transport and setup a breeze.

Freedom of Operation in Modern Studio and on Stage

In today’s music production world, flexibility is key. Behringer XR18 lets you completely separate the mixer location from the front‑of‑house. Imagine a stage where the console is safely tucked in the back room, while you, as the operator, have full control of the sound from your tablet, standing next to the band or in the audience. This is not just convenience, but also improves workflow, as you can hear the sound in the same place as the audience. Wireless control via dedicated iOS and Android apps eliminates the need for extra control cables, reducing cable clutter.

The interior of the device hides powerful processing capabilities. 12 auxiliary buses and advanced effect processors allow you to create complex sound scenarios, from simple vocal boosts to full studio arrangements. The USB interface acts as a docking station for your computer, allowing not only final mixing but also recording the raw signal from each channel individually. This opens the door to professional recording sessions, where each instrument can be edited separately in post‑production. Audio processing quality matches that of top studio consoles, as confirmed by numerous tests and user reviews.
