Behringer WAVES – Eurorack Modular Synthesizer Module

Behringer WAVES is a powerful Eurorack modular synthesizer module designed for producers and sound designers seeking modern digital textures within a modular environment. This compact digital wavetable oscillator delivers an impressive sonic range – from classic waveform foundations to complex, evolving timbres. Whether you are building your first modular rack or expanding an existing setup, this module provides the flexibility and creative depth required for contemporary music production.

Product Features

This module is based on advanced wavetable synthesis, allowing smooth transitions between multiple waveforms for dynamic and expressive sound shaping. Dedicated front-panel controls enable real-time parameter manipulation, while CV inputs provide deep modulation capabilities. Fully compatible with the Eurorack standard, it integrates seamlessly with filters, envelopes, sequencers and other modulation sources.

Stable tuning, precise pitch control and responsive performance make it suitable for both studio production and live performance environments.

Digital Wavetable Synthesis for Modular Creativity

WAVES uses wavetable technology to scan through multiple waveforms smoothly, creating animated and evolving sounds without the need for stacking multiple oscillators. This makes it an ideal sound source for electronic music genres such as techno, ambient, industrial, experimental and cinematic sound design.

The ability to modulate wavetable position via CV opens vast creative possibilities. By connecting LFOs, envelopes or sequencers, you can achieve subtle harmonic movement or extreme sonic transformations. This level of modulation control adds motion, depth and character to your patches.

Applications

This modular synthesizer module works perfectly as a primary sound source or as a complementary oscillator within a larger Eurorack system. It excels at generating leads, basslines, pads and special effects. Thanks to its digital precision and tuning stability, it is highly reliable for studio recordings where accuracy matters.

In live setups, the intuitive control layout allows quick adjustments and expressive performance. Its compact size makes it ideal for portable performance racks.
