Audix ADX-218 Capacitor Microphone
The ADX-218 is a professional, miniature capacitor microphone on a gooseneck. It is designed for speeches, presentations, business meetings, and teleconferences. Known for its clarity and excellent sound quality, as well as its very user-friendly operation. The ADX-218 accurately captures and reproduces the voice from a convenient distance for the speaker.
The ADX-218 has a cardioid directional characteristic, which helps isolate the speaker's voice from surrounding sounds. The ADX-212/218 microphones are also available in a hypercardioid version (models ADX-212HC and ADX-218HC). With a wide frequency range of 40 Hz - 18 kHz, the ADX-218 provides a natural sound with exceptionally good transient response.
The microphone is equipped with an integrated preamp built into the base. The ADX-218 can also be used in combination with a standard microphone stand or with the Audix ATS-10 (with on/off switch). Made from very high-quality materials and meeting the highest standards, the ADX-218 has a brass housing, interchangeable capsule, and a whole range of optional accessories that can be purchased separately. The ADX-218 uses phantom power (9 - 52 V) and is available in an anti-reflective finish (matte black).
