The A131 is a large diaphragm condenser microphone, perfect for recording vocals, choirs, pianos, acoustic instruments, and overheads. Equipped with a modern, compact design, the A131 is an ideal choice for podcasts, professional audio production, studios, and live performances.
Housed in a precisely crafted aluminum casing, the 33mm capsule features a gold-plated diaphragm, providing a wide, natural frequency response. Thanks to its practical cardioid directional characteristic, the A131 faithfully captures performance details while simultaneously reducing room noise and other unwanted sounds from outside the pick-up area.
Double-braided steel mesh and ultra-thin acoustic foam provide exceptional resistance to impacts during operation. Behind the grille, the open construction of the capsule mounting system allows the A131 to deliver clear, balanced sound.
The unique and effective shock mounting isolates the capsule from vibrations and mechanical disturbances, eliminating the need for separate shock mounting systems.
The A131 comes with a zippered case.
It requires phantom power of 48-52 V. For best results, the A131 should be used with a high-quality preamplifier and microphone cable.
