ART SLA 2 - Studio Linear Amplifier 2 x 280 W
The SLA2 is the most powerful amplifier from ART: a two-channel linear power amp designed for passive studio monitors, with the versatility and volume for live and commercial applications. It delivers 200 watts per channel at 8 ohms and 280 watts per channel at 4 ohms. It can also be bridged for up to 560 watts into a single 8 ohm load. The SLA2 offers a wide and linear frequency response of 10 Hz to 40 kHz (+/- 0.5 dB) with ultra-low noise and distortion to deliver the full fidelity of your source material.
Each channel has an independent volume control and status LEDs to indicate signal activity, clipping, and thermal protection. The rear panel has balanced XLR, Euroblock and 1/4” TRS inputs, and binding post outputs for bare wire, banana plug, or spade connectors. The SLA1 also incorporates our SmartFan system that adjusts the fan speed based on the internal ambient temperature for advanced cooling and quiet operation.

Inputs
The SLA-2 has a three styles of input connections: Euroblock, XLR and 1⁄4”. Use these connections to connect the output signal from a mixer, preamplifier, crossover, or EQ to the amplifier. The balanced XLR or Euroblock connection is recommended for cable runs longer than 20 feet. For cable runs under 20 feet, the 1⁄4” option may be preferable.
You may also use the two different types of input cables to jump a parallel connection to another amp. For example: connect an XLR cable to the input of channel one, then connect a 1⁄4” cable to the input jack of channel one and jump that cable to the input of another amp or use the EuroBlock connections.
