ART MX524 - Five Channel Four Zone Mic/Line Mixer
With five input channels and four output zones, the MX524 is our most fully-featured zone mixer.
Four channels feature combo inputs for XLR or 1/4” connections, and switchable phantom power for condenser microphones. The fifth channel offers RCA line inputs.
All channels have controls for input gain and output level as well as two-band EQ, and can be assigned to any or all of the zones. Each zone has an independent level control, and any combination of zones can be monitored by headphones or the line out terminals.
When a signal is detected on the first input, the other channels will automatically lower in volume so that announcements can be clearly heard throughout a venue. Rear terminal connections also allow the connection of an auxiliary telephone signal for paging.
The MX524 mixer can operate using a 24Vdc power supply. When both the AC and DC source are connected, the MX524 runs off the AC power source. The DC supply is used when the AC source fails.
Flexible and easy to use, the MX524 is an ideal solution for distributed audio in restaurants, conference rooms, houses of worship, and more.
