The HeadAmp 6 is a six-channel headphone amplifier featuring a six-channel auxiliary input section that allows for the popular "More Me" function in each headphone mix.
Each channel includes a LEVEL control, left and right channel mute buttons, and a mono signal button. The front panel also features a headphone output, which is paralleled with a similarly functional output on the rear panel (allowing for the connection of up to 18 pairs of headphones). The minimum combined impedance that each headphone amplifier channel can handle is 12 ohms.
The input section includes XLR and balanced 1/4” TRS jack inputs, with corresponding THRU jacks, enabling multiple HeadAmp 6 units to be connected together. An additional input connector on the front panel, DIRECT IN, has priority over the rear inputs, allowing for quick connection of any audio source.
The Master Volume control sets the level for the main signal bus. An eight-segment precision LED level meter on the main bus and four-segment meters on each output channel provide visual feedback of the signal level at all critical points.
The ART HeadAmp 6 is housed in a typical 1U rackmount enclosure. The front panel is made of an aluminum plate, characterized by an attractive and professional design.
