ART dADB

The dADB is an active DI-Box offering two independent, high-quality active interfaces. The modern, very quiet electronics used ensure that the balanced output signal contains minimal noise. This device provides an extremely flat and wide frequency response, making it a very versatile tool. Each channel is equipped with a high-impedance 1/4” jack input, a direct 1/4" jack output, and a balanced XLR output. Additionally, each channel features an input attenuator (0, -20, -40 dB), a ground lift switch, a phase inversion switch, and an optional Bessel low-pass filter.
The DI-Box can be powered by a 9V battery or via phantom power from a mixer. When powered by a battery, it has very low power consumption, allowing it to operate for over 100 hours.
The compact steel enclosure and the solid construction of all active components guarantee long-term reliability in various conditions.

DI-Boxes are devices used in pro-audio systems, primarily for signal balancing. Thanks to balancing, the signal becomes up to 90% more resistant to interference, allowing it to be transmitted over long distances. But that's not all. Another very useful function is the separation of input and output signals. In practice, this helps prevent the formation of ground loops.
These small devices, long used by professionals, are gaining increasing popularity and interest among those just starting their journey in music, whether on stage or in the studio.
