The Chord Cruiser mode offers a unique approach to creating chord progressions using an advanced internal algorithm. When activated, the groovebox suggests musically compatible chords, which you can assign to keys and instantly test. This system makes it easier to create harmonies while enabling more complex and personalized arrangements – even without deep music theory knowledge.

Easy to arrange – flexible to create

Chordcat gives you 8 independent tracks for controlling drums, bass, synths, and more. Each track can be adjusted in volume and stereo balance. You can save up to 16 patterns per track, and sequence across 128 steps (8 bars), giving you deep flexibility for complex arrangements or live performance.

More than just a groovebox, Chordcat is a creative tool for rhythm exploration. Its Running Direction function lets you play back patterns in four directions: right, down, clockwise, or counter-clockwise – opening up new phrasing and groove ideas. The built-in XY-pad controls three onboard effects (Arpeggiator, Delay, and Ducker) to add dynamics, depth, and movement to your tracks.
