With over 25 years of experience working with ribbon tweeter technology, ADAM Audio has developed the compact 1.5-inch D-ART (Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter). This tweeter delivers exceptional precision in high-frequency reproduction without causing listener fatigue, even during long sessions. The same tweeter is used in ADAM Audio’s professional monitoring systems, ensuring consistent sound quality in a desktop format.

Modern Connectivity

The D3V monitors feature modern connectivity options, including a USB-C input, allowing the monitors to function as a direct digital output device when connected to a computer. This eliminates the need for an additional audio interface for playback. The plug-and-play feature also extends to mobile devices, enabling high-quality playback without compression or conversion typically associated with such connections. For traditional analog use, the D3V is equipped with balanced ¼” TRS inputs.

Performance and Acoustic Customization

The D3V not only offers high-quality sound but also provides excellent ergonomics and flexibility for adapting to different room acoustics. The rear panel of the left speaker features switches that allow users to adjust the sound to address common acoustic issues related to speaker placement. The front panel includes a headphone jack and a volume knob, which also serves as a control for input selection, muting, and other functions. The D3V comes with detachable stands that tilt the monitors at a 15° angle towards the user’s ears. Additionally, the bottom of each monitor features a standard 3/8” thread for mounting on microphone stands.
