Focal Solo6 2-way monitor - Professional studio monitoring

Focal Solo6 is an innovative 2‑way monitor designed from the ground up for precise, distortion‑free reproduction of audio signals. This professional speaker combines the latest technologies, such as beryllium inverted dome tweeter and W membrane woofer, to deliver reliability in both large studios and compact listening rooms. Its flexible configuration makes it a universal tool for sound producers and audio engineers.

Product features

The Focal Solo6 monitor stands out with Switchable Focus Mode, which allows switching between 2‑way and 1‑way operation, reducing the footprint on the console. Compatibility with Dolby Atmos® and Sony 360RA® makes it ideal for immersive projects. The unique W membrane woofer and TMD suspension with toroidal weights provide a 50 % reduction in interference in the 1‑3 kHz range. Additionally, a variable crossover and a 160 Hz parametric filter eliminate console reflections, while the auto‑sleep mode saves power.

Uncompromising quality for professional use

Focal Solo6 is a solution for professionals who refuse compromises. Its beryllium inverted dome tweeter delivers incredible precision at high frequencies, while the W membrane woofer (made from a glass‑foam sandwich) guarantees deep, dynamic bass. TMD (Tuned Mass Damper) technology reduces resonance in the critical 1‑3 kHz band, resulting in natural dialogue and instrument sound. The Focus Mode lets you switch to 1‑way, concentrating on mid‑ and high frequencies, which is essential when working with narrow channels. The high‑pass filter (45/60/90 Hz) prevents bass clipping at low frequencies. Integrated LED indicators show operating status, Focus mode, and clipping, speeding up calibration. The monitor is powered by two independent amplifiers: 50 W for highs and 80 W for mids/low, ensuring consistent dynamics even at high SPL levels (110 dB).
