Dj mixers gemini
Mikser to nieodłączny element każdego dj'skiego setupu. Często nazywany jest sercem całej konsoli. Umożliwia on miksowanie ze sobą poszczególnych kawałków, a także edytowanie gotowych utworów po to, aby wzbogacić je o dodatkowe dźwięki. Zbiera najczęściej sygnał z 2 a nawet z 6 źródeł dźwięku, oprócz klasycznej equalizacji, pozwala dj'owi modulować kompozycję w różnoraki sposób, nakładając szereg efektów, filtrów itp..
Historia marki Gemini DJ sięga 1974 roku, kiedy Ike Cabasso, nowojorski producent głośników, zainspirowany pasją swoich synów do miksowania płyt, założył firmę Gemini Sound Products i wprowadził na rynek mikser DJ-1. Marka odegrała kluczową rolę w rozwoju wczesnej kultury hip-hopowej dzięki współpracy z Grandmasterem Flashem, z którym stworzyła jedne z pierwszych urządzeń dedykowanych technice scratchingu, pomagając zdefiniować DJ-ing jako pełnoprawną sztukę. Przez kolejne dekady Gemini zyskało miano ikony rynku budżetowego, demokratyzując dostęp do profesjonalnego audio i dostarczając przystępny cenowo, niezawodny sprzęt dla początkujących artystów, szkół oraz mobilnych wykonawców. Dziś, po ponad pięćdziesięciu latach działalności, przedsiębiorstwo wciąż pozostaje w rękach rodziny Cabasso i rozwija ofertę, łącząc tradycyjne gramofony i miksery z nowoczesnymi głośnikami bezprzewodowymi oraz estradowymi systemami nagłośnieniowymi.
