Use the best of different approaches recorded in audio or MIDI and combine them to create the perfect composition thanks to the new Live compilation feature. Use Capture MIDI to recall the notes as you play them, turning spontaneous moments and happy accidents into music. Generate surprising melody and rhythm variations with randomization tools.

MIDI effects let you manipulate your notes, and a wide range of sound effects, from clean to distinctive, help you organize your mix or create a creative mess. Live 11's new and updated standard effects modules give you new ways to discover live sound.

Each edition of Live comes with a basic library of sounds, including classic synths, analog drum machines, keyboards, multi-sample drums, and more. Additionally, available packages or selected collections (some included) offer sets of clips, libraries and other sounds for exploring themes and sounds; Among other things, Live 11 Standard includes the new Mood Reel collection, designed to create narratives in contemporary film music.
