New Portable Grand DGX-670 from Yamaha
Representing the next generation of portable pianos in its class, the Yamaha DGX-670 combines advanced digital piano technology with a wide range of options for solo and multi-instrument performance. Designed for greater mobility, flexibility and freedom of use, the DGX-670 offers musicians of all skill levels with brand new features that will make learning, performing and enjoying music a unique experience.
Portable and full of power
The DGX-670 continues Yamaha's tradition of providing rich and authentic sound through constant technological innovation and a commitment to creating digital acoustics of the highest quality. The 88-key Graded Hammer Standard (GHS) weighted keyboard captures this, with correspondingly heavier and lighter keystroke actions comparable to the hammer mechanics of an acoustic piano. The DGX-670 also features Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM), Master Equalizer and Part EQ, Reverb, Chorus, DSP, Intelligent Acoustic Control (IAC), Stereophonic Optimizer, and a microphone input.
Advanced sound, endless possibilities
Both the voices and styles in the new DGX-670 are based on their counterparts in the Clavinova CVP-701, providing a wide range of superb Styles and Super Articulation Voice features. Musicians can expect 630 authentic instrument sounds from various categories (601 high-quality voices, including CFX Concert Piano and 29 Drum / SFX-kits). In addition, the instrument offers 100 songs and a 1.3-inch TFT color display. Each performance can be enhanced with 263 advanced, automatic accompaniment styles that offer players endless possibilities for improvisation and a range of musical genres ranging from classics to rock, big band, R&B and dance.
New accompaniment functions
The DGX-670 features new accompaniment functions that allow keyboard players to discover a variety of stylistic nuances and expressive accents. One of them is certainly Adaptive Style, which analyzes your performance in real time and automatically selects the accompaniment that suits a given song, from dynamic to gentle. Simple Style provides a clean and reduced sound while enhancing the Voice functions and reducing accompaniment to rhythm and bass, all with the touch of a button. With the Unison function, players can use the pedal to activate the unison accompaniment functions, while the Accent function provides additional expression and emphasizes the sound.
Ready for any musical debut
Thanks to the option of connecting a microphone, the keyboardist can sing along to his own or ready-made songs, also in the form of karaoke. The user can also record his own performances to a USB device and share them as audio files. It is worth mentioning that your favorite songs or songs can be played directly from smart devices on the instrument via Bluetooth®.
