‌Waldorf STVC - two legends of the 70s combined in a modern version!

STVC is a Streichfett-based string synthesizer combined with a vocoder. The bow section allows the reproduction of colors simulating the violin, cello, viola, brass section, choir and organ and their combinations to create a sound rich and abundant in harmonic frequencies.

The Solo section is a 16-voice synthesizer that perfectly complements the string tones. A single Tone knob allows you to transform the sound over a very wide range.

The Vocoder simulates the sound of the human voice by changing the EQ in the strings to a filter that cuts out frequencies not found in human speech. This allows you to generate sounds similar to vocals and singing using fully polyphonic, synthetic timbres from oscillators. This sound can be modified in many ways, from a hoarse male voice to a female whisper. The Solo section can also cycle through the vocoder or play in parallel without filtering.

The Freeze button allows you to hold down a short portion of the vocal, which is then played from the beginning each time you press a key. You can modify the speed of playing such a "sample", play it backwards, or slow it down to a complete stop - all this gives a great field for fun and experimenting with the sound and further changing controls.

The STVC is bundled with a high-quality flexible neck microphone that plugs directly into the front panel of the instrument.
