Not only from the outside, Blofeld gained weight, but also the interior grew significantly - in addition to the classic wavetable and virtual analog engine, the Blofeld Keyboard has 60MB of memory for samples!
Imagine what happens when you add vocal samples to common wavetable-style pads, crank up analog sounds by overlaying short drum samples, or process any samples by modulating the sound with an oscillator or filter. With the Blofeld Keyboard, you can play with the sounds using the built-in high-quality keyboard with velocity and aftertouch. You can also connect a sustain pedal to the instrument.
All this has been packed in a solid, metal housing, available in two colors - black and white. There is also a power supply inside, which allows you to connect the instrument with a single, typical "computer" cable. A MIDI interface is also built-in - also via USB - so you can use the keyboard to control any other equipment!
