The Apollo Twin X Heritage Edition features two Unison-enabled mic preamps, allowing you to record with faithful simulations of mic preamps from brands like Neve, API, Manley, SSL Avalon, Helios and Universal Audio*. Unison Technology is a proprietary hardware and software integration exclusive to Universal Audio that accurately reproduces the sound of these coveted tube and solid-state preamps—including input impedance, ideal gain stage settings, and circuit behavior at the level of the original component components.
Unison technology is also used in the Hi-Z input, located on the front panel of the Apollo Twin X, ensuring precise impedance and gain matching for digital guitar and bass amp models from companies like Fender®, Marshall® and Ampeg®.
