Details
RME presents the HDSPe AIO Pro PCI Express interface card, the successor to the popular HDSPe AIO. The Pro version offers professional studio users and broadcasts the same large number of channels and a large number of analog / digital inputs and outputs as HDSPe AIO. In terms of technical features, RME has completely revised HDSPe AIO Pro and defined the state-of-the-art PCI Express cards.
All inputs and outputs work simultaneously, including SPDIF (phono) and AES / EBU (XLR). Of course, TotalMix, an unparalleled flexible routing mixer, and SteadyClock FS, RME's sensational clock technology with maximum jitter suppression of external clock signals, are also on board. HDSPe AIO Pro also supports optional TCO for timecode (LTC / video) synchronization.
The new HDSPe AIO Pro is based on the reference AK5572 and AK4490 processors, which derive from the high-end AD / DA converter ADI-2 Pro. The analog input section also uses the ADI-2 Pro circuit design (+24 / +19 / +13 / +4 dBu). In addition, RME has extended the outputs with additional reference levels (symmetrical: +24 / +19 / +13 / +4 dBu; asymmetrical: +19 / +13 / +4 / -2 dBu) to enable even more comprehensive integration into audio systems. The HDSPe AIO Pro has a special attenuator in the output range, which leads to an increased signal-to-noise ratio and lower output impedance at low reference levels.
Another advantage of HDSPe AIO Pro is the newly developed, efficient and extremely transparent headphone output. Thanks to the mute relay with switchable output levels, there are no unwanted clicks on the headphone output and the analog XLR and RCA outputs when the computer is turned on.
