The HK Audio POLAR 12 combines excellent sound quality with extremely convenient operation. Its 24-bit DSP processor and high-quality components ensure exceptionally clear and natural sound from 35 Hz to 20 kHz.
A wide coverage angle of 120° and exceptional feedback resistance make it easy to set up the POLAR 12 in any location. It can even be placed directly behind the performer, eliminating the need for additional stage monitors.
Equipped with a larger enclosure and a 12-inch woofer, the POLAR 12 provides extra reinforcement for low frequencies, making it ideal for situations requiring powerful bass for extended periods.
Unlike typical electronic filtering for bass reinforcement, the powerful bass of the POLAR 12 is physically generated by the large-excursion woofer in an acoustically optimized wooden enclosure. This results in higher acoustic pressure and dynamics, even during rapid level increases, while maintaining a perfect balance of mid and high frequencies even at high volumes.
The built-in 4-channel mixer offers two microphone/line channels, a dedicated instrument channel (e.g., for acoustic guitar), an Aux channel for playback devices, and the option for Bluetooth 5.0 wireless audio streaming. Favorite POLAR 12 settings can be saved in five individual user presets.
