For those who depend on stage directions or need to communicate with interviewees outside the studio, this variant of the d:fine series annotates proverbial DPA sound quality with a state-of-the-art in-ear solution.

The d:fine in-ear broadcast headset is based on the same state of the art capsules and mechanical design that makes the DPA d:fine series so popular worldwide. Care was taken to ensure that there is no crosstalk between the in-ear speaker and the microphone capsule. The microphone capsule itself is available with an omnidirectional or cardioid polar pattern.
The in-ear headset has two cables - microphone and in-ear - that run parallel to ensure a unified and uncluttered look. A spring steel construction on the earhook allows for quick installation on virtually any ear. The length of the integrated cable of the in-ears can be adjusted to ensure an optimal fit
allows and a cable guide directs the cables in the neck area down. The headset is easy to adjust: the size can be adjusted using the adjustable headband and the option to wear the microphone on the right or left ear makes it invisible even to the camera.
DPA has integrated a miniature MicroDot connector for the microphone and a mini-jack connector for the earpiece. Adapters for all professional, professional wireless systems are optionally available.
