The 18-inch KD-180L-BK kick drum with a shallow wooden body provides the V-Drums Acoustic Design look and light feel in a compact size. The innovative pad sensor is built into the tension, it is mounted using the same method as the acoustic tension. Every time the ram strikes, the air pressure in the body is precisely vented, giving a pedal-like feel on an acoustic drum kit. Using Roland's advanced trigger and sensor technology, each stroke is accurately detected for perfect digital sound reproduction.
